The Scott HST Turbo Blender is a continuous blender that is capable of consistently blending a wide variety of materials.  These materials may be in powder, slurry or liquid form; several different materials can be continuously blended at one time.  The HST Blender will mix powders with another powder, powder with a liquid or several liquids together and create a homogenous product free of any agglomerates or lumps.  This machine is best suited for applications where high intensity and low retention times are needed.  It is excellent for mixing small amounts of liquid with a dry powder in a coating application.

The HST Blender is especially efficient in applications where materials need to be de-agglomerated.  The addition of breaker bars to the system allows the HST Blender to serve a variety of de-agglomerating or grinding applications.  However, the unit can also be used as an agglomerator where agglomerated particles are being formed with the addition of liquid binding agents.  Adjustable paddles can be replaced with pins to aid in these types of applications.
